Giving yourself a label is a form of negative inner talk. It can restrict you from fulfilling your true potential because you learn to hide behind it.
It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I love to challenge these labels by asking:
▶️ Was it true once?
▶️ Who told you it was the case?
▶️ How is working out for you?
▶️ What would be more helpful to believe about yourself instead?
I work with a psychometric profiling tool called Tilt365.com. I particularly enjoy using it because it isn’t about labelling. It isn’t pigeon-holing you as a colour or a type that you can then mould yourself into!
Instead, it is a conversation starter about preferences, overuse, and underuse of character strengths and identifies where you might want to focus your development.
It is all about influence , impact and reducing drama!
It is fun, engaging and great for anyone within an organisation who is looking to connect, relate, build tolerance, increase influence and improve performance. It is ideal for teams too.
