Team Coaching Objectives

The business was experiencing significant growth. The team were experienced sales consultants who were results orientated and passionate about their product. Andrew Hunt, Owner and Founder, was building his company on values such as trust, respect, fun, results and never at the compromise of wellbeing. Andy asked me to work with his team over a period of about 12 months to help build the skills and environment needed to operate a work culture that puts a lot of emphasis on taking personal responsibility for your own performance, whilst also investing in the power of team cohesion.

What Lucy did

I spent time with the team getting to know them individually. I did this through short conversations and surveys to gain a cross section of insights, experiences and challenges. I also used data from the Tilt365 psychometric profiles to piece together an understanding of both their strengths as a team and also the opportunities for individual and team growth and development.

Working closely with Andy we were able to pinpoint key themes and desired outcomes from the data.

I designed a series of bespoke team coaching workshops and masterclasses which I delivered in groups of about 10 people.

Outcomes

On completion of the coaching workshops the team took away their personal commitment and actions. A key element to the success of the process is accountability. This took the form of internal (within the team) and external (with Lucy) accountability.

As a direct result of the coaching workshops and masterclasses I went on to support several employees through my 1:1 coaching programme.

The sales consultants had year on year success hitting their sales targets, implementing strategies and processes and holding each other to account for their performance.

It’s not an easy outcome to achieve and without Lucy’s help we would really have struggled. But thanks to her, we’ve seen a lot of success: I can see that through the way that everyone really works for each other, but also in how individuals have developed and improved under her guidance. I know the team get an awful lot from her group and one-to-one sessions, and their feedback is extremely positive.

For anyone looking to develop critical soft skills, emotional intelligence, and genuine team spirit, I would thoroughly recommend Lucy, she’s been a key part of our achievements recently, and I hope we’ll keep working together for some time to come.
